Minimum Wage: Shehu Sani Commends NLC's Nationwide Protest But This Reply Teaches Him What He Fails to Learn About The Country's Actual Problems
A Senator of The Federal Republic of Nigeria representing Kaduna Central District, Senator Shehu Sani today in one of his tweets commends the Nigeria Labour Congress NLC on its Nationwide Mass Protest to ensuring implementation of the proposed 30,000 new minimum wage
Senator Shehu Sani said the country's economy could sustained the proposed new minimum wage of 30k, urging some of the State Governors who earlier said that they could not pay more than #22,000 to accept it.
The Human Right Activist urged the NLC to continue the struggle. Saying that he would also add a strong voice of solidarity on the floor of the Senate, to make sure the proposed #30,000 minimum wage wage becomes a reality.
In a reply to his 'solidarity tweet', a Nigerian explained to him that minimum was not the problem, but untackled major problems like unstable power supply, immunity and security.
