The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission says the commission does not receive a donation from any governor or an individual as recently claimed by the media.
EFCC disclosed that there was no amount of money donated to the commission to carry out a particular project by any State Governor, individual or group.
Recently, there was a news circulating that Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje donated a sum of #10million to both the EFCC and ICPC.
In response to the allegation , EFCC say , "For the avoidance of doubt, no State governor or some other individual or group has donated any amount of money to the EFCC to carry out the Anti-corruption Marathon project or any other project for that matter."
