President Buhari Cancels Official Visit to Edo State, to Visit Borno State on Wednesday

The Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on New Media, Bashir Ahmad today says Mr. President would visit Borno State on Wednesday.

Mr. President, who initially plans an official visit to Edo State on Tuesday is said go have cancelled the visit for his unplanned visit to Maiduguri, Bornu State.

Reason for the changes was not made known in the official statement credited to the Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, who in a tweet says, "President Muhammadu Buhari has canceled his planned official visit to Benin, Edo State tomorrow, to visit Maiduguri, Borno State on Wednesday."
