Money Laundering : $400,000 Found in a Washing Machine
A suspected 24-year-old man has been arrested for money laundering when a sum of $400,000 cash found inside the drum of a washing machine in his apartment.
This was discovered by the Dutch police during recent a raid on unregistered residents in Western Amsterdam .
Also, the police also confiscated several mobile phones, a firearm and a money-counting machine during the raid. The 24 years old suspect has not been named by the Police.
An official statement made it known that the raid was part of an investigation into "housing fraud, money laundering and other [signs] of crime."
