Olamiju, Alao-Akala's Son Suspended As Ogbomosho Council Chair

The already heated Oyo State political scene became tense on Tuesday afternoon as a resolution passed on suspension Olamiju Alao-Akala, the Executive Chairman of Ogbomosho North Local Government and son of the immediate former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala by four legislative members of the council littered the media spaces.

The resolution stated to have come up on the council plenary which on the 15th February, 2019 urging the chairman to vacate his seat.

The development is believed to be unconnected to the recent defection of Olamiju from the All Progressives Congress, APC to the African Democratic Party, ADP where his father, Chief Christopher Alao-Akala is the gubernatorial candidate of the party in the next month guber poll.
