Trump Sets to Honour Tiger Woods


U.S. President  Donald Trump says he would on May 6 present an award of ‘Presidential Medal of Freedom to Tiger woods who recently wins ‘The Masters’.

Having congratulated him on the victorious Woods ,   Trump  says, “It was an incredible Success & Comeback in Sports (Golf) and, more importantly, LIFE

A report from Bloomberg says, ‘Woods, who has designed a Trump branded golf course in Dubai, is only the eighth person to be so honoured by Trump. Senator Orrin Hatch, baseball legend Babe Ruth and Miriam Adelson, wife of billionaire Republican donor Sheldon Adelson, were some of the previous recipients named by the 45th president.

Trump is going to have to hurry up if he wants to catch his predecessors. President Barack Obama averaged more than 14 honourees per year during his presidency while presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton each averaged about 10 a year.
