Ahmed Lawan Emerges Senate President of Nigeria's 9th National Assembly

Senator Ahmed Lawan is the new Nigerian Senate President of 9th National Assembly.

He won with 79 Votes against 28 Votes of Senator Ndume.

Also, Senator Omo Agege is voted the Deputy Nigerian Senate President, having polled 68 to defeat the recent deputy, Sen. Ekweremadu who got 37.

Senator Ahmed Lawan is a lawmaker representing Yobe North Senatorial District while Senator Omo Agege represents Delta Central Senatorial District.
