Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde on Wednesday says paying civil servants and pensioners their entitlements by his administration should not be viewed as a favour but their rights.
The State Governor made the statement while receiving pensioners who came to appreciate His Excellency for paying their pensions on time.
Engineer Seyi Makinde in a tweet says, "We met with our pensioners who came to show appreciation that our administration has been paying their pensions on time. As I said last Saturday, the government is not doing civil servants and pensioners a favour by paying their entitlements on time, as it is their right".
