Iran to Execute US Spy


One of the three people convicted of spying for the US by Iran's judiciary have been sentenced to death, with the other two receiving 10-year prison sentences.

Judiciary spokesman Gholamhossein Esmaili said the two men, Ali Nafariyeh and Mohammadali Babapour were sentenced for working for the CIA.

The identity of the spy sentenced to death was notdisclosed by the spokesman who said the verdict was subject to appeal.

Mohammad Amin Nasab was jailed for 10 years for aiding British intelligence.

The ministry alleged they had been collecting information in nuclear and military facilities and in the private sector.
