Anthony Joshua has His Belts Back
Anthony Joshua avenges his loss to Andy Ruiz Jr. to win the IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight titles. With the win, Joshua joins Lennox Lewis and Muhammad Ali as the last 3 heavyweight boxers to lose their titles in upset fashion only to be favored in the rematch and regain the title.
Andy Ruiz Jr apologises to his trainer Manny Robles and claims three months of partying affected him at the post-fight press conference. Robles responds by apologising back to him and vowing that he won't desert him now he's lost the Anthony Joshua rematch.
The WBO president has stated that Anthony Joshua will now be ordered to defend against mandatory challenger Oleksandr Usyk next. Fight must happen within 180 days (before June 4th) of tonight's win over Andy Ruiz Jr.
