Kwara Governor gives Scholarship to 179 Law Students
After weeks of screening and vetting, Kwara state government has given N100,000 scholarship each to 179 law students of Kwara State origin.
Governor AbdulRasaq AbduRahman says the money was paid directly into the beneficiaries' accounts to avoid misappropriation and to ensure those who need it get it.
The Governor in a statement adds that, "I must also commend one Barrister Yunusa AbdulMutallab, one of the beneficiaries, who was twice credited during the exercise due to network glitches but voluntarily returned the extra payment of N100,000 to the Ministry. His action is quite inspiring and reassuring".
