Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde on Monday inspected the road work at Jankata-Bembo-Apata road via Akala express linking the Ibadan-Abeokuta road.
The construction of the about 3-kilometres road is included in the 2020 budget and will decongest the Ring-road axis while serving as an alternative route for commuters from Lagos towards Ibadan-Apata-Abeokuta road.
The Governor in his address said it is important to compensate people whose properties might be affected in the cause of accelerating the road construction.
