Following the US air strike that killed Iran commander Qassem Soleimani , the United States has urged her citizens in Iraq to immediately find their ways back to US, due to increase in tensions between US and Iran.
US took the step after the vow of retaliation by the Iran Leader Ayatollah on Friday, following the killing of Qassem Soleimani.
A State Department statement added that "due to Iranian-backed militia attacks at the US Embassy compound, all consular operations are suspended. US citizens should not approach the Embassy."
