Oyo Speaker to Build Schools in Memory of Father

Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin has laid the foundation of two schools yesterday in memory of his late father deseun Adetona Ogundoyin.

The two schools which he described as one of the people’s request and focus on solcing problems would be situated in Temidire and Ojanamo, Lanlate

The Speaker said, “Temidire is an averagely populated rural community, and the closest secondary to them is Eruwa Community High School, which is about 8 to 11 kilometers away. So, school children travel this distance daily. It is definitely not convenient for the children and their parents.

“The second project at Ojonamo is a primary school. It currently has just 2 classrooms for the entire pupils, which was built by the parents. That's why we are building more classrooms, to decongest pupils' population per classes and ensure more conducive environment for learning.

“God's willing we will complete and commission the projects before the end of the year. My father died 29th years ago, but till day, people still miss him. They tell me lot of things about him and honestly, I can say he set the bar so high, we can only work and pray to attain it".He concluded
