Fixing DNS Server Not Responding on Windows 10



The DNS or Domain Name System is the system that translates website domains into their corresponding IP Addresses. DNS was created to make internet browsing easier.

If we don’t use DNS we have to memorize IP Addresses of each websites which looks like this 215.57.216.55. But because of DNS we use words to access websites like www.google.com

The DNS Server is not responding error is caused by several issues on your computer. To assist you in troubleshooting the error see the method below.

Reset your router
Most routers are turned on for days or even weeks, sometime a simple reboot of your router can fix this issue
To do these follow the steps below.

Step 1:  Turn off your Internet Router

Step 2: Unplug your router

Step 3: Wait for 5 minutes before turning on your router

Step 4: Turn on your router

Step 5: Try to connect to your network now
