Any Landlord That Turns Than a Woman because She is Single will See My Red Eye - Lawmaker Vows

A Nigerian member of the country's House of Representatives newly elected to represent Egbeda/Ona-ara Federal Constituencies, Oloye Akin Alabi on Thursday vowed to lawfully challenge any landlords or landladies who refuses to,rent out thier houses to single ladies or mothers within his constituencies.

Oloye Akin Alabi described the act of some house owners who always turn down single woman seeking accommodation as 'discrimination', which he said was unlawful.

The Nairabet Founder promised that he would use his position as a lawmaker to fight for any woman who suffers such discrimination from any house owner in Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituencies of Oyo state.

Any landlord in that turns down a woman in my constituency in Ibadan because she is single will see my red eye from next month.
