“We are proud of your Achievements”- Gov Oyetola tells Adedoyin

The Governor of the State of Osun, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola has called on all well to do indigenes of the state to emulate the good deeds of the Chancellor and Founder of Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu, Ife North Local Government, Dr. Ramon Adegoke Atobatele Adedoyin in complementing the efforts of the state government at making the state an industrial hub.

Gov Oyetola made this call during a courtesy visit by the Chancellor at the Governor’s office at Abere, in Osogbo, the state capital recently.

He commended the Maye of Yorubaland for the support he has given to the government through the siting of two tertiary institutions; Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu and the Polytechnic, Ife in the state thereby not only providing qualitative education for the future generation, but also generating means of livelihood for thousands of the inhabitants of the State of Osun.

He expressed the readiness of his administration to partner with him as well as anyone who is interested in the development of the state adding that the recent economic summit held in the state was to open up the state potentials to investors.

Earlier in his remark, Dr Adedoyin whose is the single largest non government employer of labour in the State of Osun commended the governor for the numerous strides he has been making since he assumed office as the governor of the state especially his efforts at inviting investors to the state.

He thanked the governor for the encouragement that Oduduwa University and the Polytechnic, Ife have been receiving from the state government and promised to continue to support the state government and also contribute his quota towards the development of the State of Osun.

Also present at the reception were the Deputy Governor of the State of Osun, Mr. Benedict Gboyega Alabi, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Dr. Charles Akinola the State Head of Service, Mr. Sunday Owoeye, the Honourable representing Ife Constituency, Mr. Tunde Olatunji as well as the Deputy Chief of Staff, Mr. Adeyanju Binuyo.

The Chancellor was accompanied on the courtesy visit by the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Oduduwa University, Dr (Mrs) Omolara Adenaike, the Director, Media and Publicity of the institution, Mr. Damilola Fadare and the Media Assistant, Mr. Abayomi Abe
