FG Explains Guidelines for Eased Lockdown

As Nigeria joins some other countries to ease lockdown over Coronavirus pandemic, some guidelines were made available on Sunday  to the citizens to do with, so as to avoid the spread of the virus in the country.

Some of these guidelines which  were made and have to be strictly followed from Monday, May 4, 2020 had already been stated by President Buhari in his last speech to Nigerians.

In the guidelines, everyone is required to wear a face mask; maintain social distance; use hand sanitizer oftentimes, especially those who reside in the three states mostly hit by the virus, Lagos, Ogun and F.C.T.

Interstates movement is also restricted,  excluding vehicles which transport perishable products of food items. Also, no tricycle should take more than two passangers and a passenger is approved for motorbike (Okada).

Ten hours curfew is also imposed. The curfew starts from 8pm to 6am everyday. Everyone excluding the law enforcement agents is expected to stay indoor during this period. Anyone seen outside will be dealt with according to the laws.
