Qatar to Withdraw from OPEC

Qarar's Energy Affairs Minister,  Mohammed Saleh Al Sada

Qatar has publicly declared her intention to withdraw from the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC.

According to the country’s energy affairs minister, Mohammed Saleh Al Sada, the withdrawal takes effective from January 1, 2019.

Reason for the country's exiting from the OPEC has currently not been told by the Minister.
