Oduduwa University among Universities approved for Postgraduate Degrees- NUC

Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu, Ife North Local Government is one of the universities approved by the National Universities Commission to offer postgraduate programmes at the Masters and PhD levels in Nigeria.

According to the information on the Commission’s website (https//www.nuc.edu.ng/approved-universities-to-run-postgraduate-programmes/), 30 federal universities have the approval of the National Universities Commission to run postgraduate degrees.

Also 30 states universities were also approved to offer postgraduate programmes by the Commission.

In addition to the above, the National Universities Commission has given approval to 33 private universities in Nigeria to offer postgraduate programmes.

The Commission warned employers of labour, educational institutions and other stakeholders that only certificates issued by these universities for their approved programmes are valid for employment, further studies and other purposes.

It also admonished employers of labour, educational institutions and other stakeholders to contact the National Universities Commission through info@nuc.edu.ng when in doubt about the status of any programme or certificate.

Sequel to the approval given to the University to run post graduate programmes by the National Universities Commission, Oduduwa University offers the following postgraduate programmes; Pgd Accounting, MSc Accounting, Pgd Business Administration, Master of Business Administration, MSc Business Administration, Pgd Mass Communication and MSc Mass Communication.

Other programmes approved by NUC for the University are; Pgd Public Administration, Master of Public Administration, MSc Public Administration, PhD Public Administration, Pgd Microbiology, MSc Microbiology, Pgd Biochemistry, MSc Biochemistry, Pgd Computer Science, MSc Computer Science and PhD Computer Science
