The Socio-economic Rights and Accountability Project, a nonprofit organization, has on Saturday called on the federal government of Nigeria to release the protesters arrested at the Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos State.
The protesters who tagged the protest as #OccupyLekkiTollGate have already been warned by both Lagos State and Federal Government to do away with such gathering.
SERAP in a tweet says, "We'll pursue appropriate legal actions if the #EndSars protesters arbitrarily arrested simply for peacefully exercising their human rights are not immediately and unconditionally released".
